MMS has no usr and pwd settings...

iPhonePosted by Tommy Svensson 2007-12-06 12:00:38
Several of you have reported problems due to not being able to configure an MMS-specific APN (in addition to the EDGE/GPRS-APN), mmsuser and mmspassword settings.

Some service providers (e.g. Telia and T-Mobile) apparently requires some of those settings, which has the implication that some of you cannot send any MMSs as for now.

However, this is going to be resolved with the next release of the MMS application!
Thanks for pointing this out!

We are sorry for the inconvenience!

Well, thanks for the nice application prototype..:)

But without some further settings its not usable, I guess not only for me. I 'm really looking forward for the next version.

I know its cheap to wave with dollar (euro) bills but I would be glad to donate when my first mms is sent....

Greetings..

Legitimate o2 uk iPhone tarrif here and this is NOT working. Sent to every UK network, t-mobile, vodafone, orange and o2 itself. No ones got the MMS thus far.

I can only think perhaps there is more to the legitimate contracts settings than meets the eye! I need some help with this as I am sure I will not be the only one!

Cheers guys.

in Italy, all the operators, uses a different APN for sending and receiving MMSs.

It's mean that, in order to use the application, we need to change APN everytime we want to send an MMS and then re-change it. Is it possible to implement a new setting to change only the APN for MMSs ?
