SwirlyMMS on firmware 2.x!

We know that many of you are wondering what is going on with the so much sought after release for firmware 2.x. We have been working really hard lately and today we were able to send the first MMSs between different devices running firmware 2.x on iPhone 3G and 2G!
Of course, you are all wondering when will this be made public? It is hard to say, and you all know how bad I am at making guesstimates... There are a few issues left, not major ones, but still issues, until we can make an official 1.2 release for the 2.x firmware. So lets say maybe two weeks from now. Maybe, maybe...

I had this application prior to my version 2 upgrade, it worked really well but was a little complicated as you need additional programs to navigate deep down into the phone using a file viewer in order to actually display the images. I hope that's it's an all in one package this time and you can offer it to both jailbreak and nornal users.... Alos I hope you get rewarded for all of your hard work!

Härligt att höra!! Hoppas ni fått apple att blekna av skräck nu när många kommer jailbreaka sina iphones och tanka mycket bra program från Cydia istället =)

mlangsda: SwirlyMMS är inte ännu släppt för fw 2.x. Men... Man måste ha en jailbreakad iPhone för att så småningom kunna köra SwirlyMMS. Att jailbreaka en iPhone är väldigt enkelt med hjälp av QuickPwn och det tar bara några minuter.
När man jailbreakat telefonen så startar man den medföljande applikationen som heter Cydia och där hittar man flera trevliga tredjepartsprogram som av en eller annan anledning inte finns i Apples officiella AppStore. Så småningom så hittar du SwirlyMMS där som du då enkelt kan installera.

Halloj!! Jag har senaste 2.0.1 och har Telia. hur laddar jag ner programmet? Måste jag ha Iphone-installer eller gör jag det genom Itunes? Hur hittar jag Swirly i så fall där, har försökt men får inga träffar??

Yes, this release will be available for jailbroken iPhones running fw 2.x, both 3G and upgraded 2G. Whether or not you will find SwirlyMMS in the AppStore remains to be seen...
