SwirlyMMS v1.1 has been released!
iPhonePosted by Tommy Svensson 2008-07-07 23:37:24SwirlyMMS v1.1 has just been released. It is packed with important corrections and a few new features, some of them listed below:
1) Sending an MMS to multiple receivers is now handled the correct way which means that the MMS is just sent once and not, as before, one single MMS to each of the receivers.
2) A received non-UTF8 encoded text part could sometimes result in that the whole text part didn't show up at all.
3) Corrected a crash that some users always suffered from when opening a new MMS in the Inbox.
4) A few users at certain operators suffered from seeing a totaly empty MMS when opening them in the Inbox.
5) Sometimes it was not possible to receive and send an MMS when WiFi was enabled/active. That is now corrected. Wifi can be left on all the time.
6) Ability for users to create emails containing logfiles and other useful information and send it to us.
... and a lot of other smaller things ...

Hi, I downloaded the trial version & I still get the small picture in the center of the screen & I still can't view videos....I hear the audio of it but I can't see anything?????? Can anybody elaborate on this????

Hi, is there any news about Swirly MMS making it's way to iPhone firmware version 2.0?I bought the 1.0 version of Swirly MMS, and I love it.As a paying 'customer', actually considered the price for the software more like a donation rather than price for the program, but any way just would like to hear even some news about making the program work on 2.0 FW on iPhone.Thanks for the great program for iPhone.

If you are running a jailbreacked 1.1.4 so you do like this..
"Just add http://swirlyspace.com/SwirlySpace.xml to your source in the Installer application and you are off to swirl away MMSs. You probably also will find this on Installer."
If you run the new jailbreaked 3G version or some jailbreaked 2.0 firmware version you have to wait a bit so it will be converted to the 2.0 firmware. Then you will find it on Cydia

just updated my swirlymms to v.1.1 and I absolutely love it. My pictures are enlarged, I can specify where I would like to save the pictures, and I can send to multiple recepients. Thanks swirly team, Apple needs to put you all on payroll, since they didnt have the intelligence to include mms functionality with a camera phone. How can you make a phone with a built in camera feature but you can only send pictures through email. Idiots... but thanks to the swirly team, we all can enjoy the old fashion way of sending pictures again :) And its worth the price.

i just paid 8$ for this new mms but no one no`s how to put this code for the iphone 2G , so now i`m on the web try to find what other code and nothing i try to e-mail mms support nothing so why did i think this would work , dose any one have this info and if u don`t don`t think of buying this shit because it seems that they want u to buy this shit but not give any support when it dosen`t work so y guess is that they can give two shit s if it works or not so dont wast ur money ........

ok i give up,......where can i find th1.1 ? ive looked all over this site and i cant find a down load page for the 1.1. i have the 03.8 version and after a bunch of fucking with the settings swirly FINALLY pulled in the mms but i STILL cant view the fucking mms ?!?!!! and its really pissing me off,and you want me to pay for something that is hit or miss whether it will work or not?? why cant you just put everything together in 1 simple downloadable file or drag and drop?? put it together like ziphone did and make it user friendly.. Get feedback from people that have used it. and then charge the 8 bucks for it! wow !! a happy customer! :)
its not easy to find make it easy for people to it download it, and make it work all the time ( within reason)just my 2cts.

great app which I purchased. Looking foward to future upgrades.Just one complaint...ascetically the splash screen has got to go. Maybe you could put it in the setting section. Customers should be able to see there inbox immediately when they open up the app and not have to press the arrow.Just my two cents from a paying customer.All the best

I think this app is great - have upgraded as each new version has been released. i think $8 is a small price to pay for the privilege - though would have liked to be warned of the cost before i upgraded. Nonethless it's a critical part to having a phone (for me that is). I have only 2 questions;
1/ How do you delete old messages from your inbox?
2/ I have a 8GB jailbroken iphone which i have to upgrade and jailbreak each time a new firmware version comes out - how will my $8 swirly license carry over each time I upgrade?

fuck this program, skip my 2 drinks for a week? I drink water im a healthy American, 8$ to me is not a lot, im just saying this world is corrupted, especially if 2 fucking ALREADY rich guys....(guessing from already put pictures on the app) make you pay for an app, and for those people that skip those 2 drinks, those old guys are GAINING 2 drinks, and imagine how many people have already for this app, and i bet they wont even support if you have to redo your firmware, they'll just make you pay for again, so Good luck have fun, i can deal without picture messaging, plus they auto down-size the pictures, your service provider DOES not limit it to that size. Their shitty coding can suck my left testical....

I made mistake and install that fucking shit!!! I had previous version and it worked fine. After instaling 1.1 version with the same settings it dont sends mms at all and it is trial fuckng version!!!fuck that shit!!!

Purchased Swirly, then had to restore phone (for other reasons). How do I use my previously purchased Swirly? It's forcing me to get the DEMO version. Also, when saving pics to camera roll, they corrupt. Any fix for this?

For all the people who are complaining down there, skip two of your weekly drinks and you have $8 right there.
I have three more questions suggestions:
- I get my emails frowarded (tmobile USA to my cell phone). Is there a possibility to "autofetch" all messages instead of fetching them individually?
-Is there a possibility to delete multiple messages without opening each one?
- I have more than 50 MMS in my inbox. At the moment it takes a very long time to open the inbox (40-60seconds), Any suggestions/updates?

V 1.1.0 is a 2 week demo. You have to buy an $8 license to fully use it. Sucks that they didn't post that above before I updated. Good thing I backed up V 1.0.
