I agree with your comments but as for your question, iPhone 4 users like me here is Japan is having a problem sending messages(SMS and MMS) through its default apps such as the "message" app. So we use an alternative which is the SwirlyMMS to send MMS. To note, if we send out message as an SMS, the receipent doesn't receive anything from the sender. It seems that only the MMS is the only way to reach our receipents.
I beg for request as a consumer to please set back the things they were back at the 2.4.3 settings which priorly the "send as MMS" thing. I think things here in Japan is different than other countries. It has to be sent as an MMS to reach our contacts.
I actually have an official unlocked iPhone4 so I only use softbank's prepaid card which I think they don't allow us to have service plans because we bought the phone on the other retailers.
