Hi

I just downloaded the demo version of Swirly mms for my iphone 3G 2.1. My subscription is with Telia Denmark and I'm trying to have this work and it's not working.

I tried the setting above as well as these:
Telia
Provider: Telia, Denmark
APN: http://www.mms.telia.dk
WAP Gateway: 193.209.134.131
MMSC: http://mms.telia.dk
Account: telia
Password: 1010

It doesn't work.

If I try to send a mms I get the following message:
"Failed to send MMS. MMS cannot be sent right now since GPRS/EDGE is not available. Please review your MMS and/or EDGE APN settings or wait a while if settings are correct..."

I also got someone to send me a MMS from a sonofon subscription. I received it, but when I try to ope it I get this: "Fetch Error: failed to connect to proxy: connect failed..."

Any help. What am I doing wrong?

but for Denmark and telia I got the following MMS settings delivered to my phone, but still, same problem

Both username and password are empty.

Whenever i start up SwirlyMMS i get a message saying "could not activate cellular data network: PDP authentication failure", i have the settings mentioned in this thread. Anyone know what the problem could be?

I restored my iphone a few days ago, and when I tried to setup swirly again. It gave me trouble....
Same error msg: could not activate cellular data network: PDP authentication failure SUCKS

I've tried many different setups.... with and without "http://" for APN and MMSC (dunno know if it makes a difference). And for the proxy tried adding a port (:8080), but NOTHING

But one thing I don't get..... It says I have ONE new message...I just can't access it... (no problem from the web-mms-inbox at telia.dk). It came when I was fiddling with the setup, so I figured I must have done something right. But now I can't seem to do it again..... very strange...
Please help....

i´ve tried the settings you gave me swirlymats, no luck and i´m on telia in denmark as well.
my friend has the same problem and as i can see its quite a huge problem.....could you please help out? and even make a sticky, seeing as lots of people in the forum seems to have the problem.
i have a fully bought and payed for llicence.....it worked fine in the beginning om fw 2.2 then suddenly stopped....i tried to update to 2.2.1, still nothing

Hello, I am on Rogers in Canada, and am also getting the "Could not activate cellular data network: PDP authentication failure" alert. I was able to send and receive 2 weeks ago, then I received the Swirly Aprils fools MMS. Since then I was not able to get a green M at all, and today I started getting the PDP messege.

I stopped getting the error message, and i actually got an MMS, but my M wont turn green so i cant actually read the MMS...

Dear Telia iON users,

I encourage you all the insert your SIM-cards into an ordinary unlocked mobilephone with MMS function and try to retrieve MMS-settings and try to test the MMS function on the phone. I suspect that Telia has removed MMS function on the subscription.

So far MMS does not function on my Nokia N73, i am still trying to find another phone i can test on.

Jeg opfordre alle til at smide deres SIM-kort i en almindelig ulåst tlf. med MMS funktion og henter MMS-indstillingerne til den pågøldende telefon efterfulgt af en afprøvning af MMS (send og modtag). Jeg mistænker nemlig Telia for at have fjernet MMS-funktioner på Telia iOn.

Indtil videre fungere MMS ikke på Nokia N73, men jeg vil først konstatere at det er et generelt på problem når jeg høre fra andre eller har mulighed for at teste mere flere telefoner.
