Hi,
I'm not on an official iPhone contract but I told O2, I had an iPhone so I could get MMS notifications working, I can send a message with Swirly but I receive a text message saying I have an MMS but Swirly doesn't receive the MMS.

Any help? Thanks

I got that message first time but then I just used the settings in the very first post and all is fine for now except Swirly doesn't receive MMS, I still get a text message saying I have an MMS.

I can't seemto get mines working am on Pay&Go I get Failure:
'
Code: Select all
You dont have an active GPRS/EDGE/3G connection for the moment! This can be due to a temporary problem in the network or that your APN settings are incorrect. Please verify your APN settings on the Settings page. I have verify it with every settings here

my MMS is active got I got settings from O2 when i popped it back into the N95

my Settings are:

Code: Select all
mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002
192.113.200.195:8080
payandgo.o2.co.uk
payandgo
password

I put in payandgo because that what is is in APN on the settings - the network cellular data.

Hope someone can help me am on O2 PayandGo and iPhone 3G 2.1version

iPhone 2.1 software

Just installed Swirly on to it and when i try sending a picture message it comes up with -

Failed to send MMS

Code: Select all
Possible incorrect mmsc setting.
Unexpcted http response,
'application/vnd.wap.mms-mesage'
missing.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Andy

EDIT: I can recieve, but still can't send.

I've got the profile on Nokia N95 and the pix come through bigger, is that correct?

aruffell: I got that error when using APN=mobile.o2.co.uk/username=o2web/password=password. When I changed APN to wap.o2.co.uk/username=o2wap/password=password it works fine. Other settings: mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002, proxy=193.113.200.195:8080

Ok... using the settings that have been posted above I can now send MMS, but I get the standard O2 text when I receive one. I've got a web app called http://o2mms.net, which allows me to view them, but I'm using two apps when I'd like to use just one. (I know, a bit fussy). Any ideas? I'm using the lates version of Swirly and iPhone 2.1. I tried calling O2 as a previous poster suggested, but didn't have much luck with them. Cheers!
