UPDATE4: SwirlyMMSv2 ver 2.4.3 is now released and should correct all these problems with SwirlyMMS and iOS4.1


UPDATE3: We have now implemented a solution for all these lime/green problems with SwirlyMMS and SwirlyMessage/SMS (for iPad) and will release this soon.

UPDATE2: Also greenpois0n have the same problem as lime so unfortunately none of the current jailbreaks work together with SwirlyMMS / SwirlyMessage.

UPDATE1: limera1n also makes send and receive of normal MMS not to function properly. So, for the moment stay away from limera1n if you want to use SwirlyMMS. More info shortly.

It seems that SwirlyNet is not working properly on iOS4.1 jailbroken with limera1n. Haven't had time to try with greenpo1son yet but we have good hope that it will work.

You can send SwirlyNet messages but you cannot receive any SwirlyNet messages. We are working on solving the issue.

Sending and receiving SMS and MMS works fine (not really true, see UPDATE1 above) so until we have a fix it is best to deactivate SwirlyNet if you see this problem. You can easily see if you have the issue by sending a simple text message to yourself (that should go via SwirlyNet). Normally that should be received at once. If it doesn't you have the problem.

I am having the same issue with the redsn0w_win_0.9.6b1 jailbreak. I recently updated my iphone 3g to iOS 4.1 and then jb using redsn0w_win_0.9.6b1. I went to Cydia and loaded aptback to restore my previous apps. Once this was completed, I noticed that I could not use my iphone on my car stereo through my USB cord. In addition, my phone was rebooting by itself. I had to restore my phone again to factory default. Then I started to load my apps from Cydia one at a time. The first app I loaded was SwirlyMMS. This is where I realized that it was SwirleyMMS that caused my phone to at weird. Because after the phone rebooted I saw the same symptoms I stated earlier. Do you have a fix out for the redsnow jb for the 3g iphone?
