Ipad Activation on USATNT prepaid plan and setting

I would like to know how to activate the SwirlyMessage on my Ipad 3G. I click on the activation in setting and put in my phone number, it stay at the pending screen for a long time. I retried many times. Also I need the working setting for it also. I have 3.2 and 1.0.2 swirly message with valid full licensee. Please help. Thanks

try to send an SMS to your self (just compose a pure text message). what happens? if it fails, what error code do you get?

When I send just the text, it goes through. I mean it goes directly into send box.however, I did not receive anything in inbox. If I send picture messgae, it goes to outbox and give me server timeout error. I believe that atnt does not allow iPad prepaid account to send through their cellular network, not as text.. Only as data. I can use text free to send text okay though. That's why o need to activate so I can send though swirlynet. However, I could not get activated. Is it because the same problem? Please advice. Thank you

During activation of SwirlyNet an SMS is sent to yourself as a method to identify you and your phone number correctly. So, to activate SwirlyNet one need to have SMS working. Can you send SMS to another cell phone and is it received on that other phone? Just curious.

So, you probably have to ask your carrier to enable SMS for you.

I have spoke to ATNT, apparently they did lock voice function to the prepaid ipad and there is NO way to remove the block nor add SMS function on it. I would like to know if there is another way to activate it may be using e mail or SSH it in. I don't think ur program will work with US ATNT unless you send the SMS or MMS though swirly net using as DATA. Please advice me what I can Do. I love your program and hopefully it will work on Ipad thanks

We will look into how to activate SwirlyNet without having the functionality of sending an SMS. Currently one SMS is sent during activation of SwirlyNet to guarantee that the number provided is really yours as a security measure. For the moment it is not possible though.

Just updated to 1.0.3. Everything still the same. Nothing works. Just a suggestion, I am not sure how but textfree was able to send and receive text to my iPad with out my number. Also I don't think ur program will work on US ATNT because they block SMS and cellular voice service. Unless you can send it though as dataotherwise it will not work. Just for your information. I hope u can find a way to go around it thank you

How come I get an error when I tried to upgrade to 1.0.4. it give me error says it require a paid package to upgrade. My license in swirlymessage says full license valid. Please advice

Have you bought SwirlyMessage and downloaded via Cydia before? and now it doesnt let you?

Yes I bought the swirlyMMS 2 before and was able to upgrade from 1.0 to 1.01 to the last 1.0.3 with no problem. I saw the update today and click upgrade on cydia, it says it needs paid package to upgrade it. i tried to get it over Rock it says read error or something. I already e mail saurik. My Ipad says full license valid on the swirlymessage version 1.0.3
