I guess you are trying to play a .3gp video which isnt supported. It will only play the sound. The problem is tha the builtin videoplayer does not handle 3gp. There is though an external player that can handle 3gp. called iphone-vlc or something.

nice update boys, now i'm "half" happy now my mms videos play sound, but i get no video feed.
I'm at work now, but if u need, i Can bring up the video data later today.

We havent seen exactly this connection before (3G vs edge) but we have abunch of customers haveing this timeout problem. We will look into that for the next release.

Question: I have problem sending mmses on EDGE but not on 3G signal it's this normal? when sending a MMS on edge "failed to send MMS. failed to POST:timeout error when reading http header, the MMS is placed in the outbox" but on 3G signal it's all good, normal or something wrong. THANKS..

Kind of had a feeling that was the reason.

i cant even recieve mms msgs from ppl...


i never had this problem when i had 1.1.4 firmware and swirly used to work flawlessly!

now that im on o n 2.0 firmware it wont recieve mms msgs says your GPRS/EDGE/3G settings arent right


when i know there right because they worked before

im using the nz vodafone settings

and im on the 2g iphone....

please please please i need help!!!!! im dying over here!

The problem with arm and 3gp is not Swirly's fault, it's Apples!! The media player in iPhone doesn't support this type of music/video.

was the SwirlyMMS app removed from Cydia? When I click on "Featured Packages" then on swirlyMMS, I get the following error message:

Cannot Locate Package
The package com.swirlyspace.mms cannot be found in your current sources. I might recommend installing more sources.

So which sources specifically should I add?

im sorry to ask the dreaded question that is somewhere else, but could someone direct me to a link to how to set it up.
i have an 3g with AT&T.
i have read numerous threads here and i am so confused.

i really want this app badly.
