These settings also doesn't work with my iPhone 2G FW 2.1. What could be my problem? On the info-screen there is a note like "Demo license expired" Could this be the problem? Why I get this message?

Most likely. Tonight they are renewing the demo license so be patient and try a little later to fetch a new license.

yeah i have tried that. the carrier i am currently testing with is verizon.

there is another post in Support about delays so maybe there is something wrong with the release.

On second thoughts, it's not the settings it's the fact that you need to either have a demo licence or pay for the full version

Confirmed working on 3G iPhone with AT&T

Postby JazJon on 17 Sep 2008, 20:17

It looks like it's possible to get SwirlyMMS working with AT&T and 3G iPhones after all. Read this:

How should I reply to the email? (see post)

Thanks for that. Nice of you to take the time.

I see you must be on a monthly contract from the wap.o2.co.uk setting. Im on payandgo and have used slightly different settings http://www.o2.co.uk/iphone/iphone3gactivation/changeyourdatasettings so it seems that O2 must have implemented a no MMS/data with payandgo customers somehow.

They recently had some security issues with their MMS system and have since upgraded their system. Possibly they instigated the monthly/payandgo differential then.
If you come across anything, let's know and thanks again

No go on AT&T, what next?

Postby JazJon on 17 Sep 2008, 22:18

I called AT&T, and they wont enable MMS for me so far. How did you working users get them to do it? Did it break itunes? Check out my latest findings at the end of this very long post. (they said a few things on why they cant)

when you first had the app on 1.1.4 did you run on the demp licence before you purchased it?
if so, I think you will have to buy the licence again.
