with the Beta version just like before if you didn't do IMEI faking.
It looks like it's possible to get SwirlyMMS working with AT&T and 3G iPhones after all. Read this:

Edit:
I called AT&T, and they wont enable MMS for me so far. How did you working users get them to do it? Did it break itunes? Check out my latest findings at the end of this very long post. (they said a few things on why they cant)

Yeah I was told last night by an ATT employee (I'm on T-Mobile) .. that they have a system called Snooper that does in fact block MMS (or other services) based on your IMEI number .. so even if an ATT employee enables MMS on your account, the Snooper system (which is at the tower I'm told) will still block it ..
So it seems to me the only way to get MMS on ATT with your iPhone would be a combination of
1. Social hacking to get them to enable it for you, by telling them you have a different phone and give them that IMEI and enable it
2. Spoof your IMEI, which is very much illegal and can get your IMEI banned on all networks .. oh, and I don't know of any way to do this on 2.x or 3g
This person contacted me because they were looking for a way to spoof their IMEI .. so they are an employee, who has enabled MMS on their own account and can't use SwirlyMMS because of the Snooper system... so once again ... an ATT employee cannot do it for their own phone

...
Why does it work for some? only thing I can think of is that the Snooper system hasn't picked them up, or that it's not deployed on the entire network yet..
