I think it's great that they test it a lots of times before the release but the problem is the lack of information to there customers.

People paid some donation for a functional feature. MMS on 1.4.

It works.

Developpers don't ask for any donation on MMS with 2.0

So people have just the same rights than me. waiting :P

There is a difference here though, you can donate all you want.. but the app isn't free just the same.. it's cheap though.. the people are upset because they paid for something and can't use it .. I can relate, I paid my $8.00 for the app and got my license, when 2.0 came out .. I upgraded knowing full well that MMS would not work .. which was MY DECISION and not the swirly team's .. I don't think there is a legit reason to be upset with the swirly team because the app isn't released yet, I do happen to know that they are working on this steadilly since I'm one of the testers .. they are not sitting around doing nothing, they are working on it daily ..

The issue the swirly team has, and has had for quite a while .. is communication .. they are no doubt aware of it , which is why I suggested a forum so long ago.. I think when they come and make a statement, it helps everything for a few days but that's it .. so I think right now they are intent to just focus on the release and get it done..

The best thing I can tell anyone is to be patient .. it's moving along VERY NICELY ..

Pushing them WILL NOT help ... they are working on this every day, the beta testers are hard at work giving feedback to the team... and when a bug report comes him, I assure, they are all over it until it's resolved... the hope is to get as much as humanly possible ironed out before a release is made.. and this makes sense! they are not a team of 10 .. if they release a buggy app, it's going to be a support nightmare .. as you can already see, the app isn't even out yet for 2.0 and it's already a nightmare ;) ..

I don't think anyone can disagree though that some additional progress reports would be nice .. and I hesitate to be the one to give them since I'm not one of the devs, merely a tester .. all I can say is sit tight.. it's moving along .. the simple fact that it is in the hands of beta testers should be a good indicator of where it is at .. historically when it comes into the hands of beta testers, a release follows fairly rapidly .. but I can say that the 2.1fw release slowed things down a very small bit ..

I for one am not saying anything more on the topic :) I think i've said more than I needed .. so just be patient, it's coming ..

PS. I think the swirly team should adopt the same method as 3d realms / Duke Nukem .... Release Date: When it's done!

I'm not a beta tester but have it so it has already been leaked out. If it is not released soon then everyone will have it anyway.
They best make a decision soon or make some quick changes to avoid further leakage.

Well that was dumb... you just asked for your inbox to be flooded with requests for the "leaked" version. LOL Good luck with that!

Personally I think people are moaning too much about the teams lack of communication. Any updates/previews that they give us are a bonus.

Just let them concentrate on finishing it so we can use it in a fully working state, sooner rather than later.

No PM from you??? - thats right, your on AT&T
I dont bother reading my inbox so people are wasting their time.

To be honest I have tested it and would pay for this app right now as it is great.
Im not on 2.1 so there still could be issues but as for 2.0.3 works perfect.

Well it's easy to find the leaked beta with ...
But I don't think it's so smart to try it because you never know what the leaked beta can do to your phone.

Are there any 2.x testers from Canada that can confirm working settings for Rogers? The settings I previously used on my 2G 1.1.4 are now no longer working on my 3G. I keep getting a "could not connect to proxy (unable to locate host)" error. I'm hoping that Rogers hasn't gone the way of AT&T and is somehow blocking MMS on the iphone. Hopefully there is a Rogers tester that can confirm it is in fact working.
