SwirlyMMS v1.0 has finally been released!!

Excellent work gentlemen .. I know that your source is probably getting hammered now by eager beavers...

One thing.. I'm running the beta obviously, so 1.0 doesn't show up as an upgrade or anything.. so ..

1. Should I even worry about going to the final release from the beta? (any changes?)
2. If I do need to switch, will uninstalling cause me to lose my current inbox or settings?

By the way folks,

If you have 1.0 and you're on T-Mobile USA you can go to

http://tmobileus.wdsglobal.com/phonefir ... cturerId=0

Select Sony Ericsson and then W800i ... click next

On the next screen, select "set up picture and video messaging" ... click next

Finally

Enter in your cell number and get past the captcha security .. launch swirlymms and click submit, and moments later swirly will pick up the auto configuration information from t-mobile .. viola

I still needed to use the phone faking feature so that incoming photos were properly sized...

From the second beta, version 1.0 showed up for me as an upgrade from both sources.

Upgraded from the 2nd beta, they fixed the semicolon issue in the "Sent" box. There are also some other graphical anomalies that have been resolved.

I noticed that that T-Mobile page hasn't been working for quite a while (maybe a week). I also noticed that the Swirly team removed it from their automatic settings page. Weird.

And yes I can concur about the phone faking still being needed.

Here's the problem I'm having: I downloaded and installed SwirlyMS 1.0, and it tells me I need a license. So I hit "get demo" and it says, "fetching demo license, please wait," then it says, "fetching demo license failed!" Any ideas why this is happening?

EDIT: I figured out that it was because I was trying to retrieve the license while on wifi. Once I switched to edge, it worked.

That's odd, because I was only able to receive a demo/full license on wi-fi and not on EDGE.

There's a 14 day demo license that you can, well, demo before you purchase the app. So download it and give it a try.

You could always try this method out with AT&T. It seems to have worked for others:

thank you for your help i installed vs 1.0 it installed perfect i bought it! the process was easy and did it itself opened it up love it love it love it ! the old settings where already there, tried it out sent perfect and received perfect !! awesome job guys thank you ! with me sence i already had swirly on my iphone it just worked period ...but could i ask why the send to is missing the + (plus) sign ?? i have to remember everyones phone number ? i liked that about the old version am i missing a setting or is it just not there anymore ?
