Ripped off

I paid the 12 dollars ( not a big deal since it is supporting development), but does not work with ATT in the US. Sent email to support, got automated reply and can't get a hold of a real person. Don't buy this product. I agree with a previous poster, if the offered free trials, nobody would buy it, because it doesn't work. I spent countless hours trying without success. It's a bad business they are running knowing that it doesn't work for 99 percent of the iPhone users in the US. All I ask for is a refund for a product that I can't use and does not work

I'll try this tonight and let you know

Well that's not true, it works fine ... ATT has proactively attempted to block MMS on the iPhone, and may still be blocking 3rd party MMS apps, if you read the forums (smart to do before buying) .. you'd see that..

Outside of ATT it's very functional, I've been using it since before it was officially launched as a beta tester..

i was told by ATT that my phone plan had to be changed from the original iphone data plan to the "new" 3g iphone data plan.

i did get the latest firmware from itunes and it's SUPPOSED to get mms without swirly.

in order for me to get the newer "data" plan, it was going to cost me an extra $15 a month for THE SAME features except mms capability.

i bought swirly thinking that i should be able to receive the mms without paying ATT pricks extra money everything month.

WRONG!!! swirly does not work with jumping through hoops with ATT!

had i known that, I WOULD HAVE NEVER BOUGHT THIS APP!!

I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!

i have sent e-mails to support, so let's see what happens.

at least there should have been disclaimers about ATT refusal to change THEIR network settings BEFORE SWIRLY WILL EVEN WORK.

there should be disclaimers about trying to persuade ATT reps to change the iphone account BEFORE BUYING THIS APP!

btw, i don't mind paying for apps IF THEY WORK!

this one DOES NOT WORK without ATT reps willing to change your account settings.

F-ING ATT!

To be honest, you should talk to ATT more about this, since it's obviously not the developer's fault. And as far as I know, a data plan is a data plan and they aren't allowed to regulate what you do with it.
