My wishlist ...

1. Auto download of MMS, when a notification comes in ... have swirly pre-fetch it .. (not a priority, I know it's tricky)

2. Proper rendering of MMS messages rather than just displaying MMS parts split out on pages

3. 3gp support.. I'm unaware of any MMS app that doesn't support 3gp .. I know this would mean running a converter for 3gp files, or creating your own built in viewer (and 3gp comes with licensing fees) but perhaps we can take donations and make it happen!

4. Built in video recorder? w/ 3gp support ;)

5. Option for delivery reports ...

And the arguments from the non-mms'ers are lame ...

1. Use e-mail instead

Not every cell phone supports e-mail, but every cell phone (besides iphone) supports MMS .. besides, with MMS you send to a number in your address book, no need to remember e-mail addresses .. the phone number IS the destination.

2. MMS is outdated

Last I checked, e-mail has been around waaaay longer than MMS, the first "e-mail" message was sent in 1971 .. MMS came about in the early 2000's ..

MMS is just way more convenient and serves it's purpose well .. I think the only valid argument against MMS is that it's proprietary to the networks and the standards aren't exactly conformed to accross providers..

A wonderful article…. In my life, I have never seen a man be so selfless in helping others around him to get along and get working.
