Picture Selection from Camera Roll: Thumbnail View?

Possible to make the picture selection process a little faster by making it a preference or something that the view either be thumbnails or with file names? Maybe I'm the only one, but I tend to keep a lot of pictures in my camera roll (as we can't access the Photo Library) so that I can send them. Scrolling aaaaaallll the way to the bottom for new pics is a little tedious.
