in what way is it not working. I run tele2/sweden myself and it works flawlessly.

1) what version are you running? 0.3.8?
2) can you post all logfile in /var/root/Library/MMSApp to me at [email protected] . Before posting, start SwirlyMMS and do the things that is failing. Then exit and then post the logfiles. Should be 2 or 3 logfiles.

I did two tests and it seems to work now. Thanks for all the help!
By the way, I know it's not the right forum, but I'm trying to download MobileViewer so I can view the mms picture, but installer says "package download failed", what does this mean and how do I fix it?

Installer does this sometimes.. it sucks..

You should try restarting your phone for one .. but ..

There is another app available called ruBooks which is considerably better for viewing received photos until 1.0 is available .. when you have 1.0 you won't need any external apps to view your photos ..

I have just joined up and am totally new to these fora. I downloaded the SwirlyMMS to my iphone and put in the settings as given to me by my service provider. I can receive an mms but have not managed to send one yet. My provider is Vodafone Malta. Any help? Thank you.

FIDO (Canada)
EDGE:
APN - internet.fido.ca
USR - fido
PASS - fido

MMS Application:
MMSC - mms.fido.ca
Proxy - 205.151.11.13
Reference

For me this did not work.
If anyone is having trouble with swirly 1.2 and fido try
FIDO (Canada)
EDGE:
APN - internet.fido.ca
USR - fido
PASS - fido

MMS Application:
MMSC - mms.fido.ca
Proxy - 205.151.011.013

It ACTUALLY makes a difference

MMSC & PROXY SETTINGS

Postby bhoffmeyer on 26 Dec 2008, 20:34

I just bought a Iphone and jail broke in and added teh swirley software. However, I have tried several MMSC & proxy settings and get a "failed to send MMS, possible incorrect mmsc setting. unexpected http response (http/1.1 403 forbidden"

Not sure what I need to do to correct. I have unlimited data plan and text msg. Not sure if Iam suppose to add something to my Iphone cingular Plan.

Anyone have any suggestions?
