AT&T: SWIRLYMMS WORKS ON IPHONE ---FINALLY---

I have the 3G iPhone on AT&T with the family plan and unlimited text. All i did was call tehm told them i wanted them to enable WAP push and MMS to yes and all is working fine. They gave me the speech about the iPhone not supporting MMS and all that stuff. Justa sk for a tech tell them to change the settings in the snooper program and all will work fine. Make sure to power cycle the phone. Also I have found when I have a weak signal it takes a bit for the m to turn green.

I called AT&T and had them enable WAP PUSH.I have tried many settings but it still don't work everytime i try to send a picture it says "The network reported:service denied (pe) User barred”. I have the iphone data+unlimited text plan,can some one help me and tell what exactly to do to get it to work?

I CALLED ATT AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THE IPHONE DOES NOT HAVE THE OPTION OR CAPABILITY TO RECEIVE PICTURE MESSAGES. THEY ALSO TOLD ME THAT THEY KNOW NOTHING ABOUT WAP PUSH. IS THERE ANY OTHER WAY YOU CAN HELP ME??? PLEASE.

I have a iphone 2g unlimited mins,1500 text mge's & $30 data plan. Can't get swirlyMMS to work> Can someone help. Pls

Just got mine running today and it was very simple. Just follow these steps that are below. Thanks to the original poster that posted it on page 5.

First off, call 888.892.9760. These are tier level reps who know what they're doing. Second off, make sure you have the rep enable WAP push (There are 2 places in Snooper for them to make the change.) Next, have the rep change your iphone texting plan to a normal non-iphone text plan. (costs the same). Lastly, have them resend your ota's (over-the-air activation) and reset your vlr's (clears the registry). Power cycle your phone and you should be good to go.

Do all the above and you should have no problem. When I first tried I forgot to have them reset the vlr's so it didn't work, so a 2 minute call back to ATT this morining and up up and away I sent my fist MMS it felt so good to receive one and not have to "viewmymessage".

Any thoughts as to this being a permanent fix or will any sweeping that ATT routinely does disable it.

sorry everyone, i completely skipped page 5 that had all the specs. i tried earlier today and when i got tech support the guy was a total ass. was all rude and saying how jailbroken phones are against policy. i hung up and got regular customer service on the line. according to what they told me they enabled wap push with the excuse of using second phone. i currently have family talk unlimited text and not iphone text. STILL NOTHING. i will try again tom

Still up and running....

Again follow everything that was stated on page 5, I left out one step and it didn't work the first time. Called back and had them do the last step and it worked. I have the family plan(3 phones), my phone is the only one with text messaging which I changed to regular text, and the iphone data plan.

From talking to the agents, I get the feeling that they really don't care why we are requesting the changes. After all I don't think we do not have picture messaging because of them, it's just a shortfall on Apple's part not creating the software to do it.

I sent a couple of pictures to myself and to 2 of my sisters.One of them has Verizon and the other Sprint.It did work but the problem is, it works sometimes.Most of the time it says "The network reported:service denied (pe) User barred".I don't have an MMS plan on my AT&T account,all i did is enable WAP PUSH.Has anyone else had this problem?Can someone tell what to do to make it work everytime i try to send a picture?

OK. I cant get any of the reps to change my texting plan to a non-iphone plan. Ive talked to 8 different people. does this mean im sunk?
