Didn't work for me at all.

Did exactly as you posted... even the mediaNet part..

Still not getting or sending MMS's..

Although, some people are stating that it takes a few hours or days and I just got done doing the steps. If it all of a sudden starts working I'll edit the post.

Damn I've been working at this for weeks now.

By the time I get this working Apple will have create an update that allows us to MMS anyway.

*edit - 20 minutes later I can't get into MEdiaNet anymore.. also, when I go to send a message, it gives me the "possible incorrect mmsc setting" error. Also, when I go into the outbox, the message has a big <not inserted> thing on the top. Super weird.

** edit 2 - I tested the app again 24 hours later.. still nothing. I notice the first post was edited to add a extra step when your in MEdiaNet. I repeated the entire process. Still doesn't work. Logged out of MEdiaNet and once again can't log back into MEdia Net. Sorry guys, I just don't see this working.

*** edit 3 - reinstalled the app and renewed the demo license (thanks for that swirly guys). I update the apn as stated in a two posts down. Changed UserAgent back to iPhone and still no luck. The message in the out box does have the recipients name in it (which was fixed from the reinstall) but I'm getting the same error "Possible incorrect mmsc setting".

NOTE: As soon as I change my SIM card back to the iPhone I am unable to log into MEdiaNet, regardless of making changes in the MEdiaNet account as stated in the directions.

I think it would be a good time for us all to try to figure out why this is working on some people's phone's and not others. It has to be an account issue. Any idea's?

I have tried just about all the settings and have gotten various errors. The latest error is "failure you don't have an active GPRS/EDGE/3G connection for the moment! This is due to a temporary problem in the network or that your APN settings are incorrect. Please verify your Apn settings on the Settings page." Did anyone get this error?

Confirmed that this doesn't work also. I got the 1.2.7 update yesterday and immediately got No active gprs/edge/3g connection. My APN settings are filled out, not left blank.
I poped my sim card into another phone. Went thru all these steps, that phone works fine with all the MMS stuff. Popped my sim card back into the iphone. Same problem. Out comes 1.2.8, now I get the usual 403 Forbidden message. Went thru the same steps again. No change. Called ATT support again, everything is provisioned properly. This time I believe them because all works fine with 2 other phones using my sim card.

I have the 1st gen iPhone with 2.1 installed. I have SwirlyMMS installed.

I don't have another phone to put the SIM card into.

I don't even know how to open my iPhone and pull out the SIM card.

I have tried using these setting:

MMSC: mmsc.cingular.com
Proxy: 066.209.011.032

leave apn, username, and password fields blank..

Image Size: Maximum
UserAgent: Nokia_N95

DOES NOT WORK.

Please advise.
