Okay, tried this last night.

Was never able to log into medianet unfortunatly. Even after 3 hours of the sim being in the new phone and calls being placed and received on it *shrug*

Did call up AT&T though and say that I was having issues getting MMS to work on the new phone, and the rep worked on it with me for over an hour. He apparantly reset some of the settings on their backend and sent the over the air update.

I shut down the phone and got the update, swapped back to my iphone, and amazingly, MMS worked. Was able to send and receive perfectly.

Bad part now, its gone this morning. Cant send or receive, back to the same error messages I was getting before, so something changed back on my account

Will call up again today and try this again.

Jolly:

I know att is cracking down on on people tampering with there plans because when i loged in yesterday i noticed i no longer had att messaging i was back the the iphone unlimited text messaging but i tried swirly and it still worked. Once you put thwe sim back in the razr wait 10 min and try going into medianet also make a phone call too. The webpage should recognize that the sim is in a razr and not an iphone. Also maybe you need different setting on the 2g as supposed to the 3g. dont forget to reset swirly it is def necessary!!

Hope this helps

Good Luck!

Called them up again and the rep said yes, it was put back to normal iphone policy for some reason. She reset it and it is working again now, lets see for how long lol.

Still not able to go to medianet btw even with the SIM card in the motorola for an hour and calls made. *shrug*

Hopefully I dont have to call up constantly to get this reenabled

This worked for me. I put my sim in a LG and made a call and sent a text and then a MMS. I could never get on to mymedia but who cares. No the real test will be to see how long it lasts.

sorry to hear you are having troubles, i would def try resetting swirly also before you do that i had a little trouble when i updated i opened the setting put the cursor i ever setting and hit save. if that doesnt work reset swirly

open the program wait for the green m, and then hold home key till it closes dont let go of the home key and hit the power key until the phone shuts off. once the phone shits off let go of the home key and hit the power key to turn it on!!

Hope this helps

This seems to be the most promising solution to me but I do have a few questions:

I am under a family talk plan where we pay $30 for unlimited text/pics messaging etc. Now because of that I only have the iPhone data plan and no iPhone messaging plan. Would my only option be to put my sim into my LG and switch from the $30 iPhone data plan to the $35 Media Max Plan or is there another way around this that I'm just not seeing?

Thanks for the help btw. Swirly will be a great addition to my iPhone and I will have no problem purchasing it as soon as it works efficiently on my phone.
