what to tell at&t for wap push

...hello im new to the forum.... ive had the app working before and must say i love it...it is great, paid for it since 1.1.3..... ok so i called at&t lucky me, the lady i got didn't sound like she was having a good day...i told her i needed wap push enabled, she said she couldn't do it... and there was no way to turn it on, they know im on an iphone but i only have $15 media net.... i heard about saying i need it for an exchange server to receive email from work.... can some one tell me exactly what to as i dont know what an exchange server is..... thank any responses would be greatly appreciated...
