AT&T **WORKING** Settings!!!!

ok so last night the MMS was working perfectly and now its not so ATT detects ur iphone with the IMEI and then puts the restriction back on it so you cant send MMS This seems to work for a day after you do everything to get it to work. so its not worth it you have to change ur IMEI so they wont tell you have a iphone thats the only way that you can keep the channel open to send and receive MMS.

Then how come mine still works since the 19th?

Ya but I dont think it matters. There isn't anyone else on my account that even has media net pay per use, its all blocked for them

I dont even have media net pay per use, it has been system swiped, but it still continues to work so im not complaining.

But it seems like just having other non-iPhones on the account allow them more flexibility in adding things to the plan. So far every thread I have read where someone has Swirly running successfully has been on a Family plan. Hmm.... Now I'm scheming. LOL! Unfortunately I am on a business plan so I cannot even log into my own web account, I have to do everything through corporate. But, now I'm wondering if my mom or husband need to upgrade their phone on the plan that I pay for!

Here is what I did to get it to work.
1. Use the settings by the original poster
2. Take sim card out of iphone and put into old phone, in this case a treo 650
3. call att and tell them I need to use the treo for a day and want MMS back . Give them the IMEI # of the old phone. They had to remove the iphone from my account which includes iphone txt messaging, data, and voicemail. However they replace it with the medianet equivalent $30 unlimited and my 1500 txt messages which I had before.
4. Send a pic message from the Treo after the att rep says the changes have been made, if it sends you are good.
5. put sim card back into iphone and go to swirly. I had 2 messages in my outbox that sent immediately. I then had a friend send me a pic and I sent one from my pc to my number @mms.att.net, both worked.

NOW the only problem I have right now is no voicemail... at all... so Im trying to figure out how to get that back.

Again my data plan is still $30 and my txt plan is still $15, they just have different names for older phones.
Internet and exchange activesync still work fine on my iphone

Im guessing Im going to have to call att back and say switch back to Iphone plans and see if they can keep the medianet on my plan somehow, because I do need voicemail, I have none currently it just rings and rings and then gives a busy tone

Phess check in later today or tomorrow and let us know if MMS is still working. Mine worked fine for a few hours, see my post above. Also, are you on a family plan at all?

hmmmmm.....im really sorry all you are having issues. Like I said, my way that I posted is still working since the 19th and I have visual voicemail the whole nine yards. I'm telling you if you do it my way it will work, if it doesnt call another rep because they will lie sometimes just to please you and they really arent even adding the features because they dont know how. Hmmmm ive never heard of those settings but hey if they work awesome!!!! Anyone wanting to try? I dont want to touch my settings.........
