Have you guys tried to apply to the AppStore? or is this strictly a Jailbroken endeavour?

yes currently it will only work in a jailbroken phone. with the rules setup by Apple for their SDK it is not possible to implement this

Very slick interface, I love actually having a proper inbox and the ability to see who's sending me something..

I also love that I can now send from my albums!

it's excellent work :)

One thing that is pretty awesome is that SwirlyMMS 1.0 also supports OTA (Over the air) configuration .. you can request that your provider send a special message to your phone which will allow SwirlyMMS to automatically configure itself ..

For T-Mobile USA I was able to go to http://tmobileuspublic.wdsglobal.com/ and select "Picture Messaging" as the service, and I chose a Sony Ericson w800i as my phone, entered my mobile number and viola .. SwirlyMMS picked it up and configured itself for T-Mobile automatically ..

Beautiful :)

They (Swirly staff) updated their automatic over the air page to add T-Mobile US (same site you linked lonnie); it wasn't there yesterday.

Anyway, I simply selected the N95 8GB and received the exclamation mark notification. My settings were working fine before (they stuck after the update) but it is nice to see that there is a viable alternative/option.

I'm sure if the developers wanted screenshots posted, they'd post them themselves.

I personally wouldn't post any screenshots...
